Payment of Debts

I live with my son who claimed me on his income tax return this year. If I have major medical debts can his income be attached?

Not unless he agreed in writing to do so. The most likely time that might have occurred is when he may have signed you into the hospital. If he signed accepting financial responsibility for you, he may be on the hook.

The creditor can't execute on his assets or wages without a judgment. If he is being pursued by a bill collector, have your son retain an attorney right away. That way he won't say or do anything that might compromise his rights or prospects for a better settlement.
