Hello, I have a promissory note from a collection agency and this month they debited my account without my verbal authorization. When I called I explained what happend and they said they have authorization with or without my consent. Do they?

Do you know how they did it? Did you give them any kind of written electronic debit authorization? PS: Never trust collection agencies!

Never give your bank account number to a CA. I would get a new account.

Yup. Never. Ever. Ever. Get a new account and abandon the old one. I have read so many stories of people promising to pay collection agencies a little money each month via ACH electronic debit only to find the collection agency cleaned out the entire account!. Now they have no money for food, rent, utilities, or anything else and all their checks bounce.
