Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

i have a tattoo of my ex-boyfriends name on me. and now that were not together its gonna cost me $1,800 to have it removed or $1,200 to have it covered up. its not fair becuase it was his request that i get it in the first place and when i agreed to getting his initials he said it could mean anything... ...so...he convinced me to get his first middle and last name on me and its huge =\ thats why its gonna cost so much to get it removed... can i make him pay for atleast half the cost? could i get him to pay through a small claims?

Take him to small claims court. You'll lose, but your lawsuit is sufficiently unusual that it will get picked for some TV judge show, and the producers will pay for your laser tattoo removal.

My initial reaction was "you're joking," however, Attorney Stone may be correct. Contact the producers of shows like Judge Judy, etc... and see if you can get them to pick this up. There is no legal basis on earth for what you want, but in a circus like one of these shows, they will probably pay you enough to get it removed.
