Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in California

My wages are being garnished by a debt coolection agency on a 6 year on credit card debt, I never received a summons and my employer never contacted me before they started this. I found out when i looked at my bank account. i got a copy of the judgment from my employer and it had the court that it was originated from and i requested copies of the court files and they siad they have no records pertaining to my case. What are the steps i have to go through to get this stopped?

It sounds like you are the victim of a crime. I would report it to the police. Forging a levy to obtain money is a serious offense. You should also provide your employer with the information you have showing the levy is a fraud and demand that they stop garnishing your wages or at least escrow the funds rather than send them to the con artists.
