what if u get caught with a gun but the police didnt have a warrant to search you? can you win the case?

Yes, if the gun was seized as a result of illegal search and seizure, the case should be dismissed. It does not happen automatically though. Your lawyer would need to file and argue an evidence suppression motion. Only a lawyer familiar with the facts of your case can advise you whether such a motion would be viable.
