arrest warrants

i was assaulted over a year ago. I gave the police the address of the guy who assaulted me. he wasn't home. they put out a warrant for his arrest. is there any way i can pursue him being arrested?

You, no; that's what police do. You could file a lawsuit if it is a valid case with proof, damages, and conductibility. If he has no substantial assets and income, you'd be wasting your money and time. If he has them, then feel free to contact me if serious about hiring counsel to do so.
