Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Assault with a deadly weapon

My husband is being charged with assault with two deadly weapons (his hands), him and some guy were messing around and the guy grabbed him so my husband took him down and the guy is making up stories. My husband was already on informal probation what will they probably do?

Probation violation and new violence charges will likely result in jail, unless your attorney can win on the theory of self defense. Making up stories is the norm for criminal defendants and fight contestants, as is claiming that 'the other guy' is lying. It's your attorney's job to present credible evidence to the contrary.
