Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Battery charge, been to prison for it year ago
I didn't do it this time. My lawyer suggests 3 year probation and anger classes. I have already taken such classes on two occasions and thousands of dollars later. The alternative is jail time, of six months if I plead guilty, which I'm not. Would it be best to request a trial? Or what elsa can I do? I'm currently not on probation.

You expect to get legal advice regarding your case based on your statement that you did not do it. There is no statement as to the charges or what the police report states. If you don't have faith in your attorney then get a second opinion by taking the police report and other documents to an attorney.
