Re: burgulary

I imagine you would get a significant amount of jail time plus a criminal record that will keep you from ever getting a job.

Re: burgulary

Fine?? If convicted of burglary you'll likely do serious jail time. I suggest you get counsel that knows what he's doing to help you minimize the penalties. Feel free to contact me if serious, and the case is in SoCal.

Re: burgulary

Thank you for your posting on LawGuru.com, and the opportunity for me to help you by responding to your posting.

The answer to your question is that it greatly depends. I know that's not helpful, but residential burglary carries a different minimum and maximum than commercial burglary, and any priors in the past might also make you ineligible for alternative sentencing, like deferred entry of judgment.

I hope this helps. If you do have other questions, feel that you need legal representation, or want legal advice, please feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. It's my pleasure to help in any way that I can. Thank you.
