Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

When, in California, Imposition of Sentence is Suspended and probation is granted and served properly, Does that constitute a conviction? Please tell me a California Supreme Court Case, if there is one, which supports the idea that IMP SEN SS is a conviction.

What you describe isn't the same thing as a conviction, but it can only happen to someone who has been convicted already.
