Carring Electronic Items without Receipts

Is it illegal to carring items such as many cell phones /camaras in the car? I buy used and new phones on those trading websites and newspapers .meet local. but I wonder if it is consider illegal .thanks

Not unless the items are stolen property. However,carrying that many phones could constitute probable cause giving a police officer the right to search the rest of your car.

Not illegal in itself but having a great deal of such items will sure attract attention from the police who will think you are receiving/dealing in stolen property. I would make sure to have receipts or any documentation showing the items are possessed legitimately.
