If you're case is over closed do you still need to pay the rest of the bail to the bondsman

Probably, but I would need to see your contract. If he posted your bond, then he did his job and is entitled to the fee you agreed to pay him. That agreement should be spelled out in your contract. If might say you don't have to pay more under these circumstances, but I doubt it.

It depends on the contract. Some bail contracts have an annual premium that must be paid, and if the case extends over the one year, another premium will be due.
