Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Hi I have a case of petty theft. I was offered 10 days jail or ten days cal trans I will have not completed one day by my due date but I never received credit for time i served in jail. Can I use that?

That depends on what was said by the judge , at sentencing. Usually you would get credit for the time you did, against fines or community service, so you have to know what the judge said at the time you were sentenced.
