reduced down to 245(a) misdemeanor at end of year with

good behavior?

This means there is a 1 year probationary period at the end of which the DA has agreed to reduce what was originally charged as a felony to a misdemeanor.

Code definition has nothing to do with it. Any reduction would be part of a negotiated plea bargain with the DA and court, and defined in it. Feel free to contact me if serious about getting legal representation/defense in this.
