A company has given me over $20k in bad checks. Next they have split the company up and changed names but are still using the same personel and locations. Is this fraud.

Passing bad checks is in and of itself illegal. If you need help with this let me know.

Immediately go and file a claim with the Labor Commissioner. Also, go and file a crime report with the local police. Finally, consult with an employment attorney in your area.
