Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Conspiracy

My husband is being charger with attempted homicide and conspiracy to commit homicide. If convicted of either charge or both how much time is he looking at? How do we go about having the trial in another location? He is already considered guilty where we live and dont feel he will be able to have a fair trial. Please help me.

Re: Conspiracy

He will be facing a very long time in prison. The lowest sentence would be 15 years with him serving 85%. You need to be talking to an attorney not seeking advice on the internet. A motion for change of venue would have to be made. These motions require considerable legal knowledge and evidence of local prejudice against the defendant.
