i fired my public defender to hire an attorney my pre-perlimenary is tommorrow and I have not got an attorney, what will happen?

You can either retain counsel immdiately, or request another public defender.

Always best to actually HAVE an attorney before telling the judge you want to get rid of the PD.

You may be representing yourself.

You may get the PD re-appointed.

Better figure out what you're going to do before 8:30 tomorrow. �ou better have a good explanation & clear request of the court.

You need to request a continuance so that you can get an attorney. Depending on how much time the court has already given you and the reason why you were unable to hire a lawyer, the judge may give you a hard time.

Do not represent yourself. If the judge will not give you a continuance, get the PD reassigned to represent you at the PH.
