what is the difference between 460A and 4590 entered home to commit theft first time no prior criminal record

I think your code sections are off.
459 is burglary. 460(a) is residential burglary. It is a strike and a straight felony. 460(b) is commercial or auto burglary. It is a wobbler and can be either a felony or a misdemeanor.
