Re: drug

go to court and conduct a competent defense; or hire an attorney that knows how to do so. Feel free to contact me if it is in SoCal and you're ready to get counsel.

There maybe lots of options open to you. Not the least is Prop. 36. You may also take the case to trial. There maybe the possibility of a defered sentence. To answer your question completly you need to provied more facts. You need to have legal representation. All is not lost you do have hope.

Re: drug

Thank you for your question to Lawguru. Your ticket should have a court date, and you, or your lawyer, if it's a misdemeanor case, need to show up on that case. If you can't afford a lawyer, you'll need to request a public defender from the court on the date shown on your ticket. Your lawyer, or public defender, will then go over the police report, and other documents, and come up with a plan, or strategy, for action in the case.

I hope this helps, but if you have any additional questions, feel free to email me directly at [email protected]. It's my pleasure to help in any way that I can.

Re: drug

You should get legal representation so an attorney can evaluate your charge and discuss the case with you.

You should also make sure that you do not miss your court date. Feel free to contact me to discuss representation if you so choose.
