Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Embezzlement Mule

Warrant has been issued for Embezzlement. I have never been arrested before. Should I turn myself in or seek and attorney before doing so. Can I plea bargain? How much time can I get? Does the fact that this is my first offense help in any way?

Re: Embezzlement Mule

You should absolutely get get the assistance of an attorney. Do not speak to the police or discuss the case with anyone other than an attorney. You can go to the Public Defender's Office and ask if you qualify for their services. Do not make any statements about the case to any person other than an attorney.
