Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

how can I find out?

A friend of mine was in an automoble accident in Idaho about 2 years ago--He was driving a company truck and there was 3 other guys with him. He failed to stop at a stop sign and it resulted in a motorcycle rider being killed. No one eles was seriously injured. He left the State before the trial began and he hasnt heard anything from anyone sense.I feel he is wrong and needs to go back and face the mucsic or this will always haunt him--he doesnt beleive anything will ever come of it--How can I find out the statis of this accident--I know the date and city and the circumstances

If the trial was a civil trial he is right. However, if the trial was criminal, there will be a warrant for his arrest. Contact the law enforcement agency that handled the original investigation. This agency should be able to tell you if there is a warrant for his arrest.
