Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

friend arrested for possesion of a pipe with 0.20 grams of meth. Go to court and charges were posession with intent to sell. police report state she said she was taking pipe to friend. how can that be intent to sell what defense could you use?

She needs a lawyer. There is nothing you can do by asking a lawyer for help and giving her what you understand to be the answer. Its the same if she had c skin ancer, you could ask questions all day, if you ar not ging to operate, answers won't help her.

Maybe she was a complete idiot and told the cops she was going to give the pipe to someone else (thereby admitting her intent). Nevertheless she needs a lawyer.
