Suing him is a civil question and you will have to repost for a civil attorney to get help. As far as criminal charges we need to know how many years ago did this happen?

If you can prove sexual abuse while you were a minor, you theoretically have until your 26th birthday to file civil suit for that. For simple assault and battery you would have two years from the incident to bring a suit. If it makes economic sense to do so, feel free to contact me to discuss the case, your rights and remedies. .

You can always make a police report of the crime and see if they will arrest and charge him.

If this recently happened, they may. If this happened years ago, not likely.
