indictment
someone's been indicted on 12 counts of mail fraud in one district, yet moved across the country to another district and was never informed that he/she was charged. What happens?

It depends upon the length of the delay and what, if any, prejudice was suffered. See Doggett v. United States, (1992) 505 U.S. 647.

An arrest warrant will be issued. Get an attorney and start appropriate defense by arranging for 'turn in', rather than being taken out of work in handcuffs. Feel free to contact me if the case is in SoCal courts.
