if your ipod gets stolen on camera can i take them to court.

I assume that you were in a store and that the theft was video recorded. In that case, you will have to identify the perpetrator, obtain a copy of the video, and use it as evidence when you file a lawsuit to seek restitution for your loss. You may also want to give the video to law enforcement to prosecute the person who took your iPod.
