If someone lied during the depostion in a civil case, what's the chance the person will get into trouble?
I read from somwhere, the DA is not interested to go after the perjury in civil cases.
Is that true?

Generally, that is true, depending on the nature of the civil case. However, if the matter goes to trial, the perjury can be worked into cross-examination and affect the credibility of the witness and, perhaps, the party who is introducing the witness' testimony.

Perjury in a civil case can bring on financial and procedural sanctions in that case, which is up to that judge, and can bring on criminal charges. Whether the DA will accept them and pursue the case is up to the DA.
