Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I live in CA. and had a roulette wheel I tried to sale on ebay. The wheel did not sale, but I made contact with some in Las Vegas that wanted it. We agreed on a price and I had to diliver it to him in NV. There was no paper work (receipt) and the buyer paid cash. I informed him prior to the sale that there were missing parts and minor damage to the wheel. Three days after the sale he contacted me and told me that the wheel needed major repair, more than thought. and he wanted me to give him back some of the money. I have since avoided his calls. He recently left a message on my phone saying it was illegal to own a roulette wheel in CA and he notified the Gov. and police. he said he knows were I work and live and the authorities would be at my door soon.

My question is since the sale was in NV., for cash and the wheel didn't work do I need to be concerned of breaking any laws or being in trouble with the government or police.

I wouldn't lose any sleep worrying about the police. If he has a beef about the quality of the roulette wheel, theoretically he could take you to small claims court, but odds are he probably won't do that either.
