I would like to know how long do you have to file a writ in the 3rd district court of appeals after you get denied in superior court?

The filing deadline will depend upon the type of order you are challenging, the type of writ you seek, when and how you received notice of the order, and perhaps other factors as well. Additionally, not all orders may be challenged via writ petition. Some may only be challenged via an appeal.

Figuring out when and how to challenge an order is much more complicated than it should be. You should at least consult with an experienced appellate lawyer to make sure you are following the correct procedures.
