They are supposed to leave a receipt for all property seized during the search warrant service. You (or your attorney) should be receiving a copy with the reports connected to your case through the court process.

The officer executing a search warrant must make a detailed receipt and deliver it to the person from whom the property was taken or the person in whose possession it was found, or if not person was present, left where the property was found. (Pen. Code, section 1535.)

For a return of the actual property itself, it depends on whether it was stolen, in which case it will be returned to its rightful owner, or whether the party whose property has been seized challenges the warrant, or if the property will be used as evidence.
