At least three years in the pokey if you are convicted. Don't get convicted, do something about it. Call me anytime.

Penal Code 32, being an accessory to a crime by helping the perpetrator escape capture, is a "wobbler" that can be charged as a felony, with a maximum of three years in state prison, or a misdemeanor with up to a year in jail.

As long as you truly mean "accessory" in the legal sense - one who does something AFTER a felony has been committed in PC 32, then the maximum is 3 years in state prison.

Sometimes, people use "accessory" when they really mean somebody who helps in commission of the offense. In that case, the person who assists (known as "aiding and abetting") can be punished the same as the actual killer in a murder.
