misdemonor sexual battery
i bail out on a 243.4(E)(1) sexual battery on 4-28-07 now two months later th D A wants to modify my bail because it was set to low he said, because i have a pass crime 28 years ago but i have been clean since then what can i expect?

Depending on the nature of your prior conviction, the court may consider increasing your bail. However, if you are correct that the prior conviction occurred 28 years ago, it is remote in time. But if you served any prison time, that will count against you. You should expect a fight from the DA. You had better make sure your lawyer is prepared to fight against the motion to increase bail.
