Knowingly making a false police report is a crime. But the fact that the arrestee was acquitted does not mean he was innocent, or that his accuser knew he was innocent at the time of the accusation. It means only that the judge or jury was not persuaded of his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt. That isn't nearly enough to arrest the accuser or charge him with a crime. Since I don't know all the facts of this particular case, I can't say whether there are grounds to charge the accuser with anything.
