Re: Petty Theft Accomplice

I hope your Dad is smart enough to keep his mouth shut and not respond to questions. You be smart as well, say not one word to anybody except, I have nothing to say to you and I want to speak with an attorney. You are not an accomplice just by being with him. But theft charges are very serious and they need to be fought. If you receive a letter demanding money, or if you are arrested or you receive a citation, contact an attorney in your locality.

Do not speak to anyone and contact an attorney as soon as you have indication that you are indeed being investigated by police or charged.
