Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I pleaded "no contest" to a "resisting arrest charge" in May of 2012. Now I have another court date for an "obstruction/resisting arrest charge", can the judge incarcerate me at the arraignment?

Your question does not supply some important information. Are you on probation from the previous conviction? Did you post bail this time?

Of course he can, by setting 'no bail' on the new charge and on the probation violation charge you also face. That is unlikely, but possible.
