Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Possesion of Ecstacy

My boyfriend was arrested for possesion of ecstacy. He had two pills and he is all ready on parole. I am wondering how much time they can possibly give him.

Re: Possesion of Ecstacy

Can't answer with precision as his record is unknown, and his PO has great discretion on what to do with the violation...could be a drug program, could be a return to prison... All assuming he is merely charged with simple possession and no other violations. He also has the decsion of whether or not to go forward with the violation or delay it pending the outcome of the new case.

The outcome of the PO decsion has a great impact on the DA and what they will do if a new case is filed.

Sorry I can't be more specific.

Best to have Counsel.
