Prison term for a child molester

For my novel, I need to know what is the sentence for child molestation in CA. The perpetrator molested six girls (around the ages of ten or twelve), and this was his first offense. When, if ever, would he be eligible for parole? Thank you.

Go to your Internet page on your computer, write in California Codes, and find the California Legislative Web Site. Then under the penal code put in felony sentences or other synonyms, and read the sections of the code until you find the answer to your question. However, I believe the sentence would be about five years. And with 50% for good time work time the individual would serve something like 2.5 years. It's never exactly that since they get credit for 3 days for every 2 days served in the county jail while awaiting disposition of their case. Then after they go out on the 'chain' (once a week usually) they serve 100% of their sentence while they are being processed in at State Prison. Then once they have a job they get 2 days credit for everyday served.
