Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

probation

my boyfriend was recently arrested for 11550 and he is on felony probation he hasnt been to court yet and he was arrested on the 11th of this month. He was on the no complaint calendar and no other charges have been filed but he still remains in custody the police also went to his house with a search warrant and took a bunch of stuff out of a shed in the back of the house which is not legally his living quarters, they also went to my house to speak with me I wasnt home and I had my lawyer speak with them I have hired a lawyer, and I have tried to contact his probation officer with no success, the only thing keeping him from coming home is a probation hold. THe lawyer I have hired for him has tried to contact the probation officer and she has not returned any calls I'm just wondering if you had any suggestions on what I should do?

Re: probation

Unless you're an attorney that can represent him, ask the one you hired; he knows the facts.

Re: probation

Your lawyer needs to do the work here. If you have grounds to believe that he/she is not doing the necessary and effective work and is not communicating with you, hire a new one.

There are no other secrets or short-cuts here.
