You have a civil case in which punitive damages are available. Punitive damages are those which are enogh to punish the defendant. The more money the defendant has the more money you may be awarded. You must file a complaint within one year of the incident. I would be willing to take this case on a contingency basis. Call me directly at (619) 222-3504 immediately.

Thank you for your inquiry.

The police may have decided not to prosecute based upon your failure to cooperate or failure to provide additional evidence. However, as Mr. Bravos mentioned, you may be able to file a civil case, if it's been less than a year since this incident.

Other than civil or criminal prosecution, you also have free speech, and you can mention what this player did to you in the press or through other outlets.

I hope that this answers your question, but if you need further information, have other questions you need answered, or feel that you need legal representation, I am happy to help in any way that I can. Please feel free to email me directly at [email protected].
