Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

If I get pulled over and my vehicle gets impounded- Can my friend get my car out of impoundd if she has a power of attorney?? Please advise.. Or is there a law for each city?

She ought to be able to, legally. If the bubble gum chewer at the impound desk just does a head scratch and says "no way", then she must insist on seeing the supervisor. She must also show a valid DL and not have warrants. Should work. Legally, with the POA, she can do anything you can, (so be sure you trust her.)
