Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I received a citation & have to appear to court & are trying to charge me with 273a (b) pc/child endangerment. I unfortunately made the stupid decision of leaving my kids at home & they were sleeping & i just didn't want to the disturb them. I thought I could run to the store really quick to get some over the counter prolisec for my stomach, I've had stomach ulcers & gastritis issues in the past but haven't had severe pain like I did that night in a very long time. I didn't have anymore of prescribed medication. I couldn't bare the pain so that's the first thing I thought of. I know I didn't think logically. I didn't even make it to the store because of the pain. Next thing I know I was getting phone calls from the police. I know doing that is inexcusable but I wasn't trying to put my kids in harm's way, I wasn't thinking straight, I thought it would be quick. What can possibly happen to me? I've already been in contact with CPS & she told me that my kids are well taken care of, I just made a stupid decision. I even enrolled myself in parenting classes. I wasn't told to but I want to show that I'm not careless.

They aren't "trying" to charge you, they have. You recognize how serious the charges, as you could "lose" your kids to Social Services permanently in the worst case. If serious about hiring experienced counsel contact me at 714-9607584 to discuss your situation and how I can help in your defense.
