Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I was recently convicted of felony cultivation of marijuana.During court the judge approved my use of madicinal marijuana.iIfinished my jail sentence and am now on probation.The terms and conditions probation never disaproved my marijuana use,but now my probation officer is telling me i can no longer use madicinal marijuana unless i file a motion for modified probation.My use of madicinal marijuana was never disaproved.why do i have to file a motion

There are cases that state you can use medical marijuana while on probation, but many probation officers are not aware, or just ignore, this fact. It is possible that he is basing his opinion on the fact that you were convicted of a drug offense, but it should really not have any bearing on the situation.
