If you have successfully completed all terms of probation and at least a year has passed since conviction, then you can file an application and motion for 'expungement' of your conviction. If granted, you will then be able to say 'no' on most private employment applications. It does NOT remove it from your record; records are forever. It simply changes the record to show that the conviction was retroactively set aside by court order and the original charges dismissed. Feel free to contact me, I'll be happy to help you.
