how to recover property

How do I go about getting my property returned from the sherrif's dept. ? Namely my 14 legally owned firearms they came & took w/o a warrant. No charges were ever filed yet they still have my property. The case file has been closedsince Sept. of 06.

By having your attorney file a petition for a court order, convincing the court of what you claim. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so. I have done this successfully for others. Hopefully, you aren't already too late. They usually don't hold them long before destroying or selling.

By petitioning the court to return your property. Your attorney files the petition and there is a hearing on the matter.
