Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

sentencing for pocession of marijuana

The police went to my friends house on a domestic disturbance

call and while the fight between my friend and his girlfriend was

resolved they found about a pound of marijuana in his pocession.

What are California's law pertaining to marijuana pocession? and

how much jail time will my friend have to do? this is not his first

offense. He has a prior record. Any information would be helpful.

Information to you is going to do little good for him. He needs criminal counsel, and quickly to minimize the time in prison he faces [especially if he is a 2nd or 3rd striker]. Have himcontact me if interested in hiring counsel.
