Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

whos side is my attorney on

when i first meet with my attorney and explained what happened and told him what the real issues were he dismissed what i said gave me his interprataion told me he needed the affadavit for the warrent/said that the judge that signed the warrent was not usually a duty call judge an not to worry because the didnt have prob cause to detain me an he said it was a probation case at best/no that we have the affadavitan know that the judge was not on duty he is saying if the motion to suppress is thrown out it doesnt look good unless i cooperate with the DA he doesnt even know my side of the story we are suppose to have the motion filed by thurs on wed he said he wasnt filling until mon

You should get a copy of the police report and other documents. Then take them to another attorney for a second opinion. It may be time for you to retain another attorney to represent you in this case.
