Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My son was arrested and held for two days for an attempted robbery when he was 19. The store owner refused to agree that he was trying to rob the store so they had to let him go. He was never charged with anything but the arrest for robbery is still on his record. How does he get it off his record. (Bellflower Police Report)

He can have the "arrest" changed to a "detention only." Arrests and detentions are very different things. Detentions don't count against him in any way. If you'd like to discuss this with me further, don't hesitate to call me at 310 922 3983. Good luck. Steve Mandell
