Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

My son was arrested last night because he had a warrant for his arrest, he was going to join the Army but then we as a family had some problems and he dediced to stay and help. He advise the recruiter of his dedcision of not to join a few days before he was sennt to Boot Camp. Last night he was arrested and the Anaheim Police says that he is going to be transferred to Port Irwing on Monday, can you help or please let me know what can we do.

What is the reason your son had an arrest warrant - was it issued by the Army? If not, did he miss his report date to the Army and is he considered AWOL?
