If you are talking about an incident 8 years old and no charges have been filed, there won't be any.

If that is not the case, you'll be charged with whatever the prosecutor thinks he can prove and convict. The charges actually filed by the prosecutor will determine how much time could potentially be imposed. Youll learn the actual charge[s] filed and any enhancements, priors, or violations alleged, and get copies of all the police reports and prosecutors evidence when appearing for arraignment at the first court hearing.

If that happens, feel free to contact me.
