Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I am being accused of keying a woman's car, there is one witness, campus police has spoken to me, am I going to be arrested? I did not do it. Campus police told me to either call her and pay for damages or go to court? I chose court. How do I build a good defense?

You need to find witnesses that can place you at a place other than where the car was keyed. Other defenses may be available depending upon the specific facts of your case.
