Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Vc 23111

I received a citation for a 23111 in Oakland, CA. It was a CHP officer that cited me on a city street. How can I beat this? Denial? Storytelling? Thank you for your time

VC 23111 (throwing lighted substance) is an infraction, it won't go on your criminal record or make your insurance go up. Pay the ticket and stop using the road as your ashtray.

I agree completely with Mr. Stone. You also should treat perjury a lot more seriously since, unlike the incident that got you the citation, it actually is a crime and could put you behind bars for a long time.

As Mr. Stone says, the wise thing to do is just pay the ticket. Hopefully even someone who would ask a bunch of lawyers whether it's a good idea to lie on the stand will realize this.
